Stress Reduction Therapy

Do you ever wonder if your stress level is having an effect on you?  Do you get headaches?  Do you struggle with feeling rested?  Is it hard to focus?  Do you ever feel anxious or labor to take a deep breath?  You are not alone.

What is Stress Reduction Therapy?

Stress Reduction Therapy is a combination of Craniosacral Therapy, guided breathwork and movement designed to help you achieve deep states of calm.  We are under more stress and pressure than in any other time in history and you have to either start reducing your stress or counteracting your stress in order to have a healthy life.   The techniques I offer you in your Stress Reduction Therapy session will help you bring balance to your mind and health back to your body.

What does it help with?

First and foremost it helps with nervous system regulation.  The benefits of a regulated nervous system are limitless.  A short list of benefits would be:

  • A less scattered mind

  • More organization and better productivity

  • Regular positive thoughts and emotions

  • Easeful social interactions

  • Calm, centered and more expansive awareness

What To Expect

When you come in for your session we will talk about the stress that you have in your life and I will teach you the tools and techniques you can use at home to start bringing your stress down at home on a daily basis.  In the second half of the session you will lay down for a Craniosacral Therapy session to drop you into a deep state of relaxation.  The suggested follow-up sessions for this particular modality would be Craniosacral Therapy or Spinal Flow Technique both of which will work very well to increase calm, health and vitality.

Things To Consider

Stress is always going to be a part of your life.  What you can control is how your body responds to it and how you reduce its effects.  If you cannot come in for a Stress Reduction Therapy Session please read this blog post as it has lots of advice on what you can do yourself to start taking control of your stress response.  If you have any questions please reach out.
